The client wanted to create a more sociable and versatile living space that would allow them to cook, host and entertain with ease, while bringing more natural light into the rear of the property.

To achieve this, we constructed a single-storey rear extension and removed the original rear wall to create a spacious open-plan kitchen, dining and living area. Large 4-metre bifold doors were installed across the rear elevation, opening the space to the garden and flooding the interior with natural light.

The project was completed with a new kitchen, parquet flooring throughout and a new rear patio, creating a seamless connection between the indoor and outdoor living spaces.
